After beating Wolves, suspended Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk immediately headed for Jarell Quansah. After a rough start, the teenage defender filled in for Van Dijk and performed admirably to help the Reds fight back and win 3-1.Van Dijk was on the sidelines waiting for the final horn to greet and congratulate his teammates. When the Dutchman saw Quansah, he offered him a long hug after being pleased by the young center-half. In many people’s eyes, Quansah actually outperformed his more seasoned defensive partner Joel Matip on the day.
