The former England international talks about Mohamed Salah’s goal and Arsenal’s start to the season. We spoke exclusively to England and Liverpool striker Emile Heskey to find out how the Premier League season is shaping up. Emil spoke about his old club Liverpool FC and how Mohamed Salah continues to play a key role for the Merseysiders despite his age. The former Leicester City and Aston Villa striker, who has 62 caps for England, also had his say on how Arsenal’s season will go.
 Mohamed Salah scored his 200th and 201st goals for Liverpool this weekend. How important do you still think he is to Liverpool FC? And what do you think of him as a player?It is more important than ever. If you look at the highlights of the match, they all go through Mosalah. I think there is no better outlet than Mo Salah, especially when you are under pressure and want to do something during a short break. [It will be] very interesting at his age – I think Arsene Wenger’s situation limits their minutes at a certain age – [but] you want him [Salah] to play as many minutes as possible.
We are talking about a winger who will put in a big performance to reach his goal of 200 league goals. Because I’m a forward, I’m between a rock and a hard place, and because of the wings, we’re getting a little old. Wings score every goal and create many chances. It doesn’t mean that strikers are obsolete, but the emergence of this type of wing has made them less popular now.
