Virgil van Dijk, the captain of Liverpool, conveyed a message to Andrew Robertson, who will be having surgery after suffering a shoulder injury.
The Scotland team’s 2-0 loss to Spain on October 12 caused the captain to dislocate his shoulder. Then, on Saturday, October 21, he was absent from the Reds’ 2-0 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Robertson required surgery, as Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp explained before the game, and would be sidelined for the following three months.

Van Dijk said the team was behind Robertson after the win against Everton to help him in his recovery. He spoke about the left-back, who played 201 games and scored five goals.The 29-year-old started all of United’s Premier League games before the injury and scored in eight appearances.
After the aforementioned win, Klopp’s men sit third in the Premier League with 20 points from nine games. Their next opponent is Nottingham Forest in the home league on Sunday 29 October.
