Liverpool could find Max Eberl, the former sporting director of RB Leipzig, interesting. Unexpectedly, Eberl left RBL a month ago. Leipzig was clear that Eberl’s failure to fit in at the club was the reason for the decision, not any correlation with his performance on the field. BILD reports that Liverpool is expressing interest in the sporting director, Eberl, who has been associated with Bayern Munich.
Jörg Schmadtke joined Liverpool this summer as their sporting director, although he was only there for a limited time. Bayern Munich still considers Eberl relevant, and Liverpool has already gotten in touch with him. Instead of taking on the role of sporting director at the German behemoth, he was given a position on the advisory board. Though it’s obvious that Eberl would have more clout if he moved to Liverpool.
