Michael Antonio returns after remarks made prior to the Liverpool match

Prior to the match at Anfield last month, the West Ham striker made headlines by bragging about his team’s success during an episode of The Footballer’s Football Podcast.The Hammers will defeat an at-the-time unbeaten Liverpool team, Antonio confidently prophesied, and finally surpass the Reds in the Premier League standings.
However, Antonio did not show up on the following broadcast after Liverpool defeated David Moyes’ club 3-1.The forward’s dismal stats from his performance on Merseyside will be relayed by co-host Callum Wilson on the following episode of the program.
However, Antonio has since come out of hiding and stated that his absence was the result of a set-up from his podcast team rather than him skipping the program. Then, while I was emailing Darren (since he is the one who handles everything, you know), I said, “I’m free this day,” to which he replied, “nah, we did it last night.” OK, no problem. You only wanted to put sauce on me. It’s alright.
