Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram are the two best players that former Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant thinks the Reds should sign in the next January transfer window.
He thinks Kone would be a great player to fill the role of “enforcer” that Liverpool’s midfield needs to be. Additionally, he believes that the presence of Thuram would cause friction because he has “always been a huge fan” of Thuram.
Pennant served as a player with Liverpool from 2006 to 2009. He participated in 55 Premier League games for the Reds during this time, scoring three goals. Over the course of his career, he furthermore made appearances for groups like Leeds United, Portsmouth, and Arsenal.
