Liverpool defeated Leicester 3-1 to advance to the Carabao Cup fourth round. Dominik Szoboszlai’s exquisite goal was a key factor in the victory.

Soon later, the Dutchman missed a chance to put his team in front as his header hit the crossbar. However, Szoboszlai’s intervention changed the course of the match after 70 minutes. Jota then won it with a cunning backheel following some outstanding effort by young Jarell Quansah.
