Jadon Sancho’s ongoing dispute with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has led to the resurfacing of comments made by Jurgen Klopp about the player.
Sancho, who claimed he had been made the “scapegoat” following his exclusion from United’s lineup for the team’s September 3 loss to Arsenal, is training separately from the first team.
Ten Hag said at the time that his training performances had fallen short of expectations, a claim the 23-year-old winger angrily denied in a social media post that he later deleted.
According to a story in the Mirror, Sancho has been banned from all first-team areas at United, including the team eating area, and his colleagues have pleaded with him to apologize and put an end to his dispute with Ten Hag.
