Darwin Nunez has recently taken some “massive steps” in his personal growth as a player, according to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Uruguayan international striker struggled to handle the tactical demands placed upon him when the season first began, but according to Klopp, something has clicked and he is now much better coordinated with the rest of his teammates:
“[He] has advanced significantly over the past few weeks. He poses a risk. You guys witnessed the goal [against West Ham], and I’m guessing it was quite good. That was very powerful. He was available to us at all times. The fact that we now have a ball player is crucial.
