In advance of this weekend’s match at Anfield between West Ham and Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has hailed the ‘fantastic project’ at West Ham.
On Sunday, Liverpool will play West Ham in the Premier League in an effort to keep their perfect record intact.
Both teams enter the game having won their midweek Europa League openers, with West Ham competing in international competition for the third straight year after winning the Europa Conference League the previous year.
David Moyes has assembled a “really good” team at the London Stadium, according to Klopp, who has nothing but respect for this weekend’s opponents.
In his pre-game press conference, Klopp stated, “There are so many incredibly tough opponents. When you see them, West Ham is one of them.
Also a really exciting project. I’m pleased for David because he has spent several years putting together this team.
Then there are the remaining teams, including the top four, five, six, plus, plus, plus. The league is very competitive no matter how you want to begin or end. The people will benefit, but it also requires us to be the best versions of ourselves.
