The 2023–24 season has gotten off to a strong start for both the Reds and the Hammers. After five games, Liverpool is in third place with 13 points, two points ahead of West Ham, who is now in sixth place.
Even though West Ham’s most recent match ended in a 3-1 loss to league leaders Manchester City, Antonio is still upbeat heading into this Sunday’s match at Anfield and even (boldly) predicts that his team will finish the year higher in the standings than Jurgen Klopp’s group.
On the Footballer’s Football Podcast, he declared, “I am backing myself over Liverpool.”
“You know what, I believe we will end the season ahead of Liverpool. I’m making it public.
“I watched the Wolves vs. Liverpool game because it was prior to our match and Wolves had a chance to win easily! They were given a lot of chances. This weekend, we have them, and it’s a six-pointer. We have them.
Callum Wilson, the co-host and a striker for Newcastle, reacted, saying, “Michail, wake up. He may be having another of those dreams, I believe.
