The Argentine World Cup champion Mac Allister moved from Brighton and Hove Albion to Liverpool in the offseason.
The 24-year-old joined the Anfield club as part of a midfield overhaul that also included Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch.
Many Liverpool supporters will immediately name Van Dijk as one of their team’s strongest players since he is the defensive anchor.
Van Dijk, though, is not Jurgen Klopp’s team’s strongest player, according to Mac Allister.
The Argentine midfielder was quoted as saying to GOAL: “I would say Mo, or [Kostas] Tsimikas.”
When asked why he chose Mohammed Salah, Mac Allister responded, “Oh, yes. He works out in the gym all day, so he is really powerful.
Salah previously discussed the value of his body in an interview with France Football.
He remarked, “Our home has two rooms set aside for various exercise equipment and bodybuilding.
“At home, I can also use a hyperbaric chamber for cryotherapy. I’m always trying to get in better shape physically.

They defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 on Saturday after coming back from a goal down, with to goals from Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson, and an own goal by Hugo Bueno.
On Thursday night, Liverpool will return to action when they take on LASK in the first round of the Europa League.
