After a busy end to the transfer window for the Reds, former Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward is apparently back involved with recruitment at Anfield.
To spend more time with his young family, Ward, 42, abruptly left his position at the club earlier this year. However, it now appears that he may return to Anfield in some manner.
Dave Davis went into further insight about the comeback for Ward on the Anfield Index podcast. “On that, all we’ve heard is that John Henry and all the key players in FSG have discussed it,” he stated.
