Ryan Gravenberch must be registered by 12 p.m. if Liverpool wants him to play this weekend against Aston Villa.
Prior to his highly anticipated transfer deadline day move to Liverpool, the 21-year-old midfielder is now in Merseyside for a physical.
Gravenberch, who only moved from Ajax to Bayern Munich last year, is anticipated to sign a five-year contract with the Premier League team after a £34.2 million cost was agreed upon.
The Dutch international came in England with just hours left in the transfer window, and Liverpool supporters are eager to watch the Ajax academy product in action this month.
To participate in Sunday’s Premier League match at Anfield against Aston Villa, though, Gravenberch will need to be registered by the team swiftly.
Any signing made on the deadline day must be registered by Friday at 12 p.m. to be eligible for the weekend’s games, under Premier League rulebook section U.23.
The deadline for the board to receive all duly completed documents required by these rules to effect a player’s registration is 12 p.m. on the last working day prior to the date of the first league match in which the club making the application intends for him to play, subject to the provisions of Rule V.1.

Jurgen Klopp was hesitant to acknowledge the transfer in his press conference on Friday morning, despite rumors suggesting Gravenberch would be moving.
