Darwin Nunez, who hasn’t made many starts for Liverpool, isn’t going to be happy about it, but after scoring two goals against Newcastle United, he might have caused Jurgen Klopp some trouble in the selection process, according to Andy Robertson.
Nunez made sure his most recent appearance was one to remember by securing all three points with two thunderous finishes past Nick Pope. Nunez has had to practice patience for a moment of this kind this season after being benched for each of the Reds’ opening three Premier League games.
