Injury Update: Double Lion’s Loss as Wide receiver is out again on week two. Head coach Confirms he’ll be out for…

In the second half of the Week 2 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Detroit Lions’ top wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown, suffered an injury.

The problem occurred after he made a 17-yard reception with just over four minutes left in the third quarter. Medical staff quickly attended to him, and while the exact nature of the injury is unclear, it seemed to involve his leg. Fortunately, St. Brown was able to walk off the field by himself.

Before the injury, St. Brown led the team with nine catches for 101 yards, bouncing back from a quiet Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Head coach Dan Campbell indicated that he does not expect St. Brown’s injury to be severe, though he did not specify the exact issue or confirm whether St. Brown will be available for the next game. St. Brown seemed to aggravate the injury in the fourth quarter, limping and receiving attention from trainers on the sideline, but he later returned to the game.

Overall, it appears St. Brown will be okay, as he was seen on the sideline with his helmet on, suggesting he might return to play. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
