‘He made a significant error when’ Packer’s Running back fumbled horribly against the Colts.

Packer’s Running back fumbled horribly against the Colts.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs had a strong first half against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, dominating the field.

However, he made a significant error. With the Packers up 10-0 and facing 1st-and-goal early in the second quarter at Lambeau Field, Jacobs received a handoff from quarterback Malik Willis and seemed poised to score.

Unfortunately, he fumbled just short of the goal line, and Colts defensive end Laiatu Latu recovered the ball in the end zone. Despite Jacobs rushing for over 100 yards in the first half, and the Packers leading 10-0, they missed out on potentially extending their lead to 16-0 due to this mistake.

Jacobs, who was signed to a four-year, $48 million contract this offseason, had previously rushed for 84 yards in Green Bay’s Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
