Crystal Palace supervisor Oliver Glasner has admitted that his side have to be ‘perfect’ to beat Liverpool this weekend, detailing one component they may want to do to get the better of the Reds this Sunday.

Liverpool return to home obligations on Sunday after a crushing 3-0 home defeat to Atalanta on Thursday evening, and they will be determined to hold the pressure on title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal.

Both their rivals play on Saturday, with eyes then turning to Anfield the place the Reds host Palace on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles’ shape has been patchy this season however things have seemed extra advantageous under new manager Glasner, who is aware of simply how tough a day out to Merseyside will be this weekend.

‘EVERYTHING MUST BE PERFECT’

Speaking in his pre-match press conference involving Liverpool’s strengths and weaknesses, Glasner admitted that perfection was required for the Eagles to be successful this weekend.Every team has, of course, its strengths, and Liverpool has a lot of strengths – but additionally they have their weaknesses, their zones where you can locate space and where you can create probabilities and rating goals,” said the Palace boss.

“Sometimes it’s not so handy to find this space and to get the ball there, because they by no means provide you time, so when you see yesterday’s desires [vs Atalanta]: two balls they lost and then amazing counter-attacks, and one, it started from a throw-in and no person had more than three touches. The last, I think, two balls have been with one touch until they finished.

“Everything should be perfect. Then, it’s viable to score dreams towards themAdding greater detail on how Palace may also get the better of the Reds, Glasner suggested that making speedy selections would be imperative to success.

“When I see it in many games, when they lose the ball, what happens? It’s like anyone whistles and 10 players are searching the ball and so it makes it so challenging for you,” said the Palace boss.

“But again, every electricity has its weakness. I suppose we comprehend how it can work, however it is virtually challenging for the gamers on the pitch to locate a answer when you don’t have time, when you comprehend you get the pressure.

“But we showed you, for example, the first intention in opposition to Man City [last weekend], triumphing the ball, it was once three instances one touch, and [Jean-Philippe] Mateta runs one-on-one on the So, you know, towards this pressing, these speedy solutions, this is the key.”

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-1 previously this season thanks to a 90th-minute Harvey Elliott winner, even though that victory in December got here when Roy Hodgson was in charge at Selhurst Park.
