During a appearance on thursday, perkins told “the pat mcafee show” that “the lakers must stand pat, get through this season, have a run,” because another superstar is on the way this summer. “i can’t tell who the superstar is,” perkins said, “but they have a superstar on the way this offseason if the lakers stick to their guns.” perkins said he didn’t want to reveal who the player is to avoid divulging his identity.
It’s important to keep in mind that perkins is best known for his wild opinions rather than his reporting, so there’s no way to say this will happen.
