The Boston Celtics entered the All-Star break on a strong note after a crushing loss to the Brooklyn Nets.The C’s picked up their second 50-point win of the season with a 136-86 victory Wednesday night at TD Garden. Boston looks to extend its six-game winning streak, including seven at home, into the break.The guard duo of Payton Pritchard and Derrick White paced the C’s as they combined for 55 points on 21-of-32 shooting. Pritchard set a season high with 28 points, two shy of his career high of 30 last season.
Jayson Tatum had another great game on Wednesday night as JT finished the night with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in 28 minutes. The Celtics will officially end the first half of the season with a 43-12 record. Their 43-12 record leads the Eastern Conference by six games, with Cleveland in second at 36-17.
