Zach lavine of the chicago bulls has been linked to the los Angeles Lakers, but that doesn’t mean the lakers will not try to add another bulls guard to their backcourt.
According to zach buckley of bleacher report, the lakers, who desperately need a solid point guard, might want to look closely at bulls backup guard jevon carter.
Carter was once considered a steal by the bulls after being acquired in the offseason, though he was underutilized in the windy city. Carter’s playing time has been cut with only 14 minutes per game this season, thanks to his tough defense, a strong work ethic, and spot-up shooting.
Despite showing signs of promise, he hasn’t been able to find a regular role on the team; he currently plays as the bulls’ third-string point guard.
Carter will provide the lakers with the much-needed toughness and consistent shooting this season, which could put some of the pressure on lebron james and anthony davis if the team’s defense crumbles around them.
