While there isn’t a formal “Cooper Flagg Foundation,” his family supports the Ronald McDonald House in Portland, Maine, through the “In Flagg We Trust” initiative.
In Flagg We Trust: Supporting Ronald McDonald House
The Flagg family’s commitment to the Ronald McDonald House stems from their own experiences. In 2004, Cooper’s older brother, Hunter, was born prematurely and spent 109 days in the hospital. During this challenging time, the Ronald McDonald House provided the family with a place to stay. Later, in 2006, Cooper and his twin brother, Ace, were also born prematurely, and the family once again benefited from the organization’s support. These experiences motivated the Flagg family to give back.Â
To support this cause, the family collaborated with designer Victor Rios to create the “In Flagg We Trust” merchandise line. For each item sold, $5 is donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Portland. This initiative not only honors the family’s journey but also aids other families facing similar challenges.Â
Cooper Flagg’s On-Court Achievements
Beyond his charitable endeavors, Cooper Flagg has made significant strides in his basketball career. As a freshman at Duke, he averaged 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious 2025 John R. Wooden Award, recognizing him as the nation’s top college basketball player.Â
