The Cleveland Browns will aim to play spoiler this Sunday when they take on the Miami Dolphins.
A win could knock Miami out of playoff contention, though the Browns are far removed from the postseason themselves with a 3-12 record.
Following last week’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, star pass rusher Myles Garrett voiced his frustration and challenged the front office to present a clear plan for immediate success—or risk him seeking a trade.
“First and foremost, I want to win,” Garrett stated. “I want the Browns to put us in a position to succeed. I’m not interested in a rebuild.
Once the season ends, I expect the team to outline a path forward that shows we can compete right away.”
Defensive standout Denzel Ward echoed Garrett’s sentiments ahead of the Dolphins matchup. “I’m ready to win too,” Ward said. “Myles and I are competitors. We’re looking for a way to rise to the top and avoid another season like this.
Once they show Myles the plan, I’ll just peek over his shoulder to see what it is.”
With the offseason approaching, the pressure is on the Browns’ front office to act quickly and assure their star players that a turnaround is on the horizon.
