The New England Patriots will wear their navy and silver jersey combination for their Week 12 road game against the Miami Dolphins, as announced via a social media post on Friday.
This marks the third time this season they’ve returned to the look that served as their primary uniform from 2000 to 2019.
They previously sported the navy-silver combo in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks and Week 11 versus the Los Angeles Rams.
Analyzing their uniform choices so far this season, the navy-silver set is now their second most-used look, trailing only the classic white-navy road combination:
White-navy (4 games): Weeks 1, 3, 4, 9
Navy-silver (3 games): Weeks 2, 11, 12
White-silver (2 games): Weeks 7, 10
All-navy (2 games): Weeks 5, 8
Red throwback (1 game): Week 6
Although the team adopted the all-navy design as their primary uniform in 2020, they’ve only worn it twice this season, potentially hinting at a shift in preference.
