Jerod Mayo’s squad began preparations for the matchup with their first practice of the week on Wednesday at the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.

They also released their initial injury report, which listed 13 players.

Four players did not participate: defensive lineman Christian Barmore (non-injury-related), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (shoulder), defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy (neck), and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot).

Limited participants included safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale (elbow), safety Marte Mapu (neck), tight end Austin Hooper (neck), defensive end Keion White (knee), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (knee), and offensive lineman Cole Strange (knee).

Two players were full participants in practice: linebackers Christian Elliss (abdomen) and Sione Takitaki (knee).
