According to Tom Pelissero, the Cincinnati Bengals have claimed defensive back Marco Wilson off waivers from the New England Patriots. In addition, the Bengals have signed running back Kendall Milton to their practice squad.
Wilson, 25, has had an active NFL journey. Originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Florida, he signed a four-year, $4.1 million rookie contract. Arizona waived him in 2024, after which he was picked up by the Patriots. Despite playing significant snaps for New England this season, the Patriots decided to part ways, making Cincinnati his third NFL team.
In the 2024 season, Wilson has appeared in 10 games for the Patriots, recording 15 tackles, one pass deflection, and no interceptions. He was set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2025, but now has an opportunity to contribute to the Bengals’ defense.
