The New England Patriots began NFL Week 10 with only two wins and held the top spot in the 2025 draft order.
However, their Sunday win over the Chicago Bears altered the draft standings.
With a 3-7 record following their 19-3 victory at Soldier Field, the Patriots dropped from first to seventh in the draft order after the early slate of games.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, now at 2-8, moved into the top draft position after their 12-7 loss on Sunday in former Patriots quarterback Mac Jones’ debut for the team. Although Jones scored the game’s only
touchdown, he also threw two interceptions. Thanks to New England’s win and Jacksonville’s loss, the Jaguars now lead the race for the top pick, while the Patriots have exited the two-win club and joined the “prestigious” three-win group.
