The New England Patriots returned to practice missing three players, including a defensive captain.
Running back JaMycal Hasty, linebacker Christian Elliss, and safety Kyle Dugger were absent as preparations for the Chicago Bears began in Foxborough on Wednesday.

Dugger, a 2020 Patriots draft pick, has missed two consecutive games due to an ankle injury. Previously listed as limited, he was downgraded to inactive last week. This season, Dugger has recorded 35 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
Hasty was absent for personal reasons, while Elliss was out with an abdomen injury after playing 58% of the defensive snaps last game.
