If it weren’t for bad luck, the Cleveland Browns might have no luck at all. After recently getting several players back at practice, the team now faces new injuries following their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

During the game, four Browns players were injured, further adding to the NFL’s most injury-plagued team. The most serious injury occurred on the Browns’ third offensive play when backup center Nick Harris went down with an ankle injury and had to be carted off the field. After the game, analyst Kelsey Russo confirmed Harris had fractured his fibula and would need surgery. Harris was filling in for starting center Ethan Pocic, who also missed the game due to injury.

Michael Dunn, typically a guard, replaced Harris for the remainder of the game. Russo also reported that cornerback Martin “M.J.” Emerson and wide receiver Elijah Moore both suffered rib injuries, forcing them to leave the game early.

Additionally, running back Jerome Ford left the game with a hamstring injury and was officially ruled out before the game ended.

The Browns will head home to face the Cincinnati Bengals next week, marking their first divisional game of the season against their AFC North rival.
