The Packers have placed TE Messiah Swinson on the practice squad, according to Bill Huber.

TE Messiah Swinson
Swinson de committed from Arizona State in April. He later signed a rookie contract with the Packers. However, Green Bay waived Swinson in the offseason and placed him on their practice squad. The Panthers signed him before waiving him last week.
During his five-year college career, Swinson appeared in 47 games and caught 28 passes for 317 yards and two touchdowns. He has never appeared in an NFL game.
