It is unclear why many teams did not want to hire Bill Belichick after he left the New England Patriots.
Despite being a defensive mastermind, the architect of a dynasty, and Tom Brady’s mentor, Belichick is not interested in using his knowledge through broadcasts. However, it seems that the Dallas Cowboys and Mike McCarthy are not considering him.
Belichick has every intention of returning to coach in the NFL. According to reports, he may join a team to help with their strategies and rotations in the 2025 season. He is actively involved in the game, attending events and even appearing on Inside the NFL. He is fully committed to coaching again and wants to pursue the all-time wins record.
Currently, Belichick is focused on his goal of staying with the media for the 2024 season. He wants to show fans and the league that he is not like the villainous Darth Vader. During this break from coaching, he also aims to improve himself after many years of mentoring Brady and the Patriots dynasty.
While Belichick plans to come back, it is unlikely that he will join the Cowboys due to their existing professional relationship.
