Liverpool followers have been left fuming after Darwin Nunez was denied a penalty they felt was once the identical as Chelsea’s one awarded just 24 hours prior.

The Reds were already 1-0 down at domestic to Brighton after Danny Welbeck’s opener inside two minutes when their frustrations were furthered via the selection to no longer award a spot kick, after Nunez went down in the box underneath pressure from Pervis Estupinan.

They felt Estupinan had tugged him back, but neither referee David Coote nor VAR legit Paul Tierney saw healthy to intervene. A comparable incident involving Blues winger Mudryk was once penalised during the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Burnley on Saturday (March 30)”If Mudryk used to be a pen the day prior to this then so used to be that on Nunez,” argued one fan. Another claimed: “That one on Nunez is greater of a pen than the one given to Mudryk yesterday, the consistency in the officiating in England is terrible.

A third commented: “Yesterday Mudryk one was given a penalty. But nothing on Nunez. Clearly each ain’t a penalty however the inconsistency is laughable.”And even Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge admitted: “Tbf to Liverpool it’s a penalty if it used to be one on Mudryk yesterday. Inconsistency again.”

Clarets supervisor Vincent Kompany was despatched off for his furious reaction to the Blues’ first half of penalty at Stamford Bridge, which was once transformed through Cole Palmer, Panenka-style.

Mudryk felt the hand of Lorenz Assignon on his shoulder and tumbled to the ground, before his opponent was once right now proven his second yellow card. The choice survived a VAR test and Palmer cheekily chipped the ball down the middle to put the home facet in front.

Kompany was once then involved in a heated change with referee Darren England, who showed the Manchester City legend a crimson card.
