James Ferentz noticed action in one recreation with the Patriots in the course of the 2023 campaigns. Rather than trying to proceed his playing career, he will flip his attention to his post-playing days. The veteran offensive lineman announced his retirement on Monday.
Ferentz joined the league as a Texans UDFA in 2014. He did no longer make his debut till one 12 months later after becoming a member of the Broncos, and he made 14 appearances that season. He was an auxiliary member of Denver’s O-line as the team received the Super Bowl, marking an eventful start to Ferentz’s taking part in days at the NFL level.
The Iowa alum remained in the Mile High City for another campaign, though he again did not see any starts. That modified after he joined the Patriots, as he began a pair of games in 2019. It will be interesting to see if James follows in their footsteps in his post-playing days.

Ferentz did no longer play in the normal season in 2019, but he did dress for one recreation in the Patriots’ Super Bowl run that year. He will accordingly exit the recreation as a two-time champion and a veteran of sixty three total video games between everyday and postseason play.
