For six years, mahomes has been the chiefs’ starter. He has been to six afc championship games and is now on his way to his fourth super bowl appearance in las vegas on feb. 11. Brady is now 28 years old.

In the playoffs, mahomes is 14-3, including his two super bowl victories. Brady started his career 12-2 in the postseason.
Make no mistake, mahomes and brady are closer than we think. When brady retired at the age of 45, the general consensus was that no one would ever match his record seven super bowl victories. But is mahomes really the “kid” or the baby goat? One could argue that mahomes is off to a much faster start than brady when one takes a closer look.
Mahomes is a footballer who plays in a much more pass-oriented league and plays under the direction of creative andy reid rather than conservative belichick. And he needs to keep up his pace with brady for another two decades to flirt with him.
But even a year ago, mahomes had a dream of chasing brady. Before super bowl lvii, mahomes said, “i’m trying to catch tom.” “but tom is a long way away. When i’m 38 years old, you can ask me.’ the conversation just got more interesting.
