New England Patriots quarterback Ezekiel Elliott is being investigated by Texas police for allegedly being involved in a bar fight near Dallas Cowboys headquarters.
According to TMZ, police in Frisco, Texas are investigating a bar fight that partially involved Ezekiel Elliott’s friends at a restaurant near the Dallas Cowboys practice facility.The New England Patriots were currently at the Cowboys’ concrete home in North Texas when the incident occurred last weekend. The FPD report stated that “a man and a woman were physically assaulted by several people” and that “Elliot’s gang may have been involved.” However, video of the scene obtained by TMZ may shed light on Elliott’s direct involvement.
A man who looks like a two-time NFL running back appears to be talking to a woman away from the field. FPD investigators confirmed to TMZ that they are “still working to confirm the details of the incident.” According to Cowboy Country’s Mike Fisher, no arrests have been made. Fisher also noted that Elliott, 28, will continue to make his home in the Dallas metroplex after spending the first seven years of his NFL career with the Cowboys. The Concrete Cowboy is located just blocks from The Star, the Cowboys’ state-of-the-art practice facility, 20 miles north of Dallas.
Elliott recently completed his first season with the Patriots and signed with the team less than a month before kickoff. He was released by the Cowboys in March. Elliott, who signed a one-year, $15 million contract, led the New England offense with 955 carries after taking over for injured starter Ramon Stevenson. He will hit unrestricted free agency this spring.
