On monday, the green bay packers announced the signing of 14 practice squad players to the 90-man offseason roster with reserve/future contracts.
A reserve/future deal is a temporary contract that keeps the player under control of a club until the start of the new league year in march. At any point during the season, the following players — all from the packers practice squad — signed futures contracts:banks, dubose, and pearson were all promoted from the practice squad to the gameday roster.
Cornerback david long jr., defensive lineman Chris Slayton, and punter pat O’Donnell were the only players not signed to a futures deal from the practice squad. All three are veterans.
Michael Jordan, an offensive lineman who was released on saturday to make room for o’donnell, was also not re-signed.
