The NFL has announced the 2024 international pathway participants.
In the coming weeks and months, a total of 16 players from outside the united states will have the opportunity to showcase their skills.
The complete list includes players from eight countries. the participants in the program will begin training in the united states in january at IMG academy in florida.
In march, they will have the opportunity to work out for nfl scouts, possibly setting themselves up for draft or signing as rookie free agents. The 16 international players will be able to fill an additional 17th spot on any of the league’s 32 practice squads after training camp.

In 2017, the nfl introduced its international pathway program to make it possible for players from outside the united states to play in the league.
So far, 37 international players have signed deals with clubs, with 18 of whom are now on NFL rosters. jakob johnson, a german-born fullback, played three seasons with the new england patriots from 2019 to 2021.
