SAD: “Could be another career ending injury” as midfield reality becomes known

If Jurgen Klopp can sense Liverpool’s injury problems, Dominic Szoboszlai latest setback may be their worst yet.

In his post-match press conference following Monday’s 4-2 win over Newcastle United,  Liverpool manager admitted he had planned to bring in the Hungarian captain before he was eventually forced to bow out in the face of a groin problem.

Klopp said the Hungarian, who was replaced by Ryan Gravenberch after 65 minutes at Anfield, would not have been a casualty if the switch had been made as originally planned. “We wanted to get him,” Klopp said. “That was the plan but unfortunately I felt a hamstring in the last minute and was a minute late. Of course, we don’t know how much. “We have to wait.”

The anxious wait continues for Szoboszlai, who could face the possibility of missing his first Premier League game since his £60million move to Liverpool from RB Leipzig at the start of July. Scans were carried out earlier this week and Klopp is awaiting an update when he addresses the media at the AXA Training Center on Friday. The 23-year-old has played in all 20 of Liverpool’s top-flight games this season, with the Boxing Day win over Burnley the only game he did not start.

Only Mohamed Salah has made more starts, with his 1,589 Premier League minutes surpassed only by Egyptian goalkeeper Alisson Beckerman. This statistic shows two things about Szoboszlai season.

He is already one of Klopp’s most trusted lieutenants, especially in the newly reshuffled midfield, but if there is any suggestion that his form has dipped in recent weeks, it is because of the confidence he has in midfield. Park? Liverpool was no longer involved in the Prime Minister’s campaign, so it was best to take a break in Newcaslay, because he did not participate in Bornmut on January 21.

This can be a solution to Iklov’s hands, but Gravenberch is diagnosed with fatigue, but has been diagnosed with fatigue, so it is applied to the volume of work during this period.According to these requirements, he used two other signs in the summer since the arrival. I only played three minutes in 3 minutes, because it is used only in Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Ten of the 10 Premier League shareholders spent a lot of time at this stage of the campaign, so there is nothing new in the competition to be punished between December and January. It was perhaps inevitable that Liverpool would now have a sweaty rage.Any good news could give Klopp the opportunity to extend the deadline and complete the summer signings by a few weeks.

The alternative means they are without a key midfielder, with Alexis McAllister returning after almost a month out and Wataru Endo also leaving for Japan.
