Liverpool loanee Calvin Ramsey is yet to fully recover from injury at his new club Preston North End this season.Ramsey has not made an appearance for Preston since joining the club this summer.
The teenager has been struggling with injuries since last season. Preston manager Ryan Rowe said Ramsey is yet to recover from injury. He said:-“I’m so happy for Calvin. It was a difficult time for him, wasn’t it?”He came to us on loan in the pre-season, but he didn’t work out. Then he had to go back and reprogram the knee.“He has a smile on his face and loves being here. We want him to play competitive football while he is here. He is a good player. We will have to answer him. don’t get it wrong. But it’s good he’s there and I’m sure he’ll say the same thing if you ask him.
Despite Calvin Ramsey closing in on a possible comeback, manager Ryan Rowe insists the youngster still has a long way to go to recovery. He also said:“It was a bit off the pace until I got up to speed. “But once he gets up to speed, he is a very good player. Of course he will be (dangerous).
