Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Premier League. Danny Murphy has looked back on Dominique Szobozlai’s career at Liverpool and said: It was fantastic. The midfielder joined the Reds from RB Leipzig for a £60million transfer fee.
He has started every Premier League game so far and Jurgen Klopp’s side are three points clear at the top of the table. Szobozslai recorded two assists in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
He finished off Darwin Nunez’s shot in the 35th minute and his pinpoint pass broke through the Forest defense for Mo Salah to finish with 14 minutes remaining. In his speech on day two, Murphy was impressed by the understanding achieved by Szobozslai, Salah and Núñez. He said: “Szobozslai is truly amazing. Another great performance with or without the ball. Sometimes you see relationships develop between players and they enjoy playing with each other and we saw that today with Salah and Nunes. “It will be very interesting to see if Szobozslai participates.
Of course, what you want is the final product. You want goals and assists and all three are possible. “I think Liverpool fans will be very happy with this little triangle. It’s great to see players coming in and adapting so quickly. It was a similar overhaul in midfield. Gravenberch are also good players, led by Mac Allister. Hopefully they can move things along and Diaz will be back soon and his issues will be resolved.
