Former Liverpool star John Barnes has praised midfielder Dominic Szobozslai.The Hungarian moved to the RB Leipzig club in the summer. He received the most praise from Barnes, who compared him to club legend Steven Gerrard.
In an interview, he said: “Szobozslai understands his role and personally his technical and physical abilities have far exceeded my expectations. “I didn’t know much about him when he came to the team, but he hits the ball well, he knows how to dribble, pass and shoot. He has a great personality. He can run up and down the field.”I think he is a player like Steven Gerrard when he plays box-to-box.
Liverpool currently play with three in the middle so they don’t have to play like that but they can do everything in the middle. I was very impressed with him.
