Now that the second dreaded international break is over, Jurgen Klopp is entirely focused on this weekend’s Merseyside derby at Anfield.
However, with Cody Gakpo only recently making his injury comeback and Andy Robertson currently being ineligible for selection, not to mention the fact that members of Liverpool’s South American contingent were just playing in an international game on Wednesday morning, it’s clear that the manager will have a lot to take into account when selecting his starting XI.

Mohamed Salah is an absolute must-have player for FPL all year long, as I said in gameweek six and will again now. The Egyptian King is an excellent choice, but despite his obvious brilliance, only 35.7% of players own him. There doesn’t seem to be a clear reason for this. His asking price of £12.6m, which is second-highest in the game only to Erling Haaland, is understandably high, but his excellent attacking results more than justify the premium price.
