Although Jurgen Klopp’s team has had a successful start to the current season, midfield changes have been significant, and the revamped squad may still need some adjustments once the transfer window reopens. After eight games, the Reds are only three points behind the leaders, giving them hope of mounting another title challenge. There are several high-profile names who could be available at a discount price – or on an advanced agreement ahead of summer – as they enter the final months of their respective contracts, and doing so in January could prove to be the difference for Liverpool at the end of the season.
The players listed below are set to become free agents in 2024 and could be targets for Liverpool in January. Mr. Nico Williams. The winger for Athletic Bilbao was speculatively linked to a summer transfer to Anfield. Williams had a successful breakthrough season the previous year, earning a call-up to the Spain team and making it to the most recent World Cup. With four assists in six La Liga games, the 21-year-old has had a strong start to the new campaign. The Spaniard could provide another option on the right despite Liverpool’s impressive array of forwards. Tomá Soucek.
Liverpool may have added four new midfielders, but there are still questions about their holding midfielder options. Alexis Mac Allister is better suited further forward while Wataru Endo has been in and out of the lineup. The Reds may be forced to take action if the position does turn out to be a problem as they approach the final stretch for the title. Given that Adrien Rabiot’s contract at Juventus is also set to expire in the summer, Soucek, 28, might not be the most enticing name on the market, but the commanding West Ham midfielder offers a ready-made solution and a wealth of Premier League experience.

Depending on how bad Robertson’s shoulder injury is, he might have to miss the Merseyside derby. Kostas Tsimikas will probably fill in for Robertson. Kelly, Lloyd. Despite the fact that Joel Matip has entered the final year of his contract, Liverpool has had a consistent group of center backs in recent years. However, this may be about to change. The emergence of Jarell Quansah might fill that potential void, but if the Reds decide to enter the transfer market, Lloyd Kelly would be a good choice.
