Since Thiago’s contract expires in the summer of 2019, it appears likely that the Reds will lose their most senior midfielder. Thiago was another midfielder who was linked to an exit, particularly amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
According to Ian Doyle, who has shed some light on the situation, it is likely that Thiago’s current contract will be allowed to expire and that he will be free to leave the team next year.
