After Liverpool’s defeat, David Moyes outlines what makes him “fed up” while playing at Anfield.

David Moyes acknowledged that he’s ‘bore up’ with his sides performing admirably at Anfield but unable to produce results.

Yesterday marked manager Moyes’ 19th professional encounter with Liverpool at L4. And he has yet to win at the illustrious stadium after the Hammers fell to Jurgen Klopp’s team 3-1.

Tomas Soucek’s header was expertly stopped by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker early in the game, and Michail Antonio’s shot was well off-target. After that, the Reds were given a penalties, which Mo Salah successfully converted in the 16th minute.

Jarrod Bowen gave West Ham a chance to get back into the game just before the break, but Liverpool dominated the second half. On the hour mark, Darwin Nunez gave the team the advantage again, and Diogo Jota’s goal with five minutes left gave them their fifth straight Premier League victory.

The London side “had a bit of a go,” said Moyes, who has now lost 13 times at Anfield. The former Everton manager observed, “We performed a really good job in the first half.Even the second half, however the second goal disappointed me. Although we were constantly under pressure, there were many lessons to learn from the game. We came and gave it a shot.

“I’m more upset with the second and third goals, perhaps the third more so because even though the score is 2-1, we’re still in the game. The game to win anything is still going on.

We actually played fairly well today and did a lot of positive things, I actually think. When you come here, I’ve been here so many times. But I always leave here saying the same things, so I’m getting tired of saying it, but I have to admit Mickey had a wonderful chance with a header and the goalkeeper made a beautiful save off Tomas Soucek. As a result, both Liverpoool and us had our moments, but that is to be expected in this place.

“Liverpool will have 10 chances, but you might only get three if you come here.” You have to hope that nine of them will go unnoticed. When you acquire three, you have to believe that you can use two of them to achieve a goal.
