German Football Federation (DFB) officials continue to be interested in Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
After Hansi Flick was fired a fortnight ago, the DFB chose Julian Nagelsmann as the new coach.
After being fired by Bayern Munich last year, Nagelsmann accepts the position.
His contract is valid until July 31, 2024, or two weeks after the conclusion of the in Germany taking place Euro204. Neither Nagelsmann nor the DFB have made any comments regarding an extension possibility.
Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, is still the DFB’s top pick, according to German press sources. Over the course of the summer, Klopp turned down DFB approaches twice. However, there is optimism that by August 2024, Klopp’s surroundings will have changed.
