4. Van Dijk gave a cagey performance.
After receiving a red card against. Newcastle United and making remarks about the referee in response, Virgil van Dijk was reinstated. The Dutchman, though, did not appear at ease playing with Joel Matip in the center of defense. He contributed to Bowen’s goal and had a difficult game all around.
3. West Ham missed a few opportunities that they could have used.
The team led by David Moyes got off to a great start, but they were unable to take advantage of their opportunity. They had 11 shots, including three excellent opportunities, but they were ineffective. While Antonio should have scored with a simple header, Soucek was excellently denied by Alisson. Liverpool, on the other side, was effective and secured the victory.

The Egyptian performed admirably against West Ham. He committed the box foul that resulted in the penalty and successfully converted the resulting spot-kick. He joined Thierry Henry, David Beckham, Sergio Aguero, and Erling Haaland as the only players in Premier League history to score or provide an assist in each of a team’s first six games. He closed the game with two crucial passes, two accurate shoots, and two dribbles that were fully completed.
