Liverpool gets ready for their Premier League match against West Ham at Anfield.
Aaron Cresswell’s health is a concern for West Ham before their Sunday trip to Liverpool.
The Reds defeated LASK 3-1 in the Europa League last night, and they are now back in Premier League play. West Ham began their competition campaign by defeating TSC Backa Topola 3-1 at the London Stadium.
Cresswell won’t likely play against Anfield due to a hamstring injury that forced him to leave at halftime. Hammers manager David Moyes told TNT Sport: “He felt his hamstring. He felt it during training, but we didn’t think it was significant enough to take anything. Obviously, it started during the game, so we’ll let the medical staff examine it and determine how serious it is.
Jarrod Bowen, a pillar of strength for West Ham versus Tapola, was not present. According to the website of the Hammers, the winger, who has made five appearances this season and has contributed three goals and one assist, was unable to play due to illness. West Ham is currently waiting to see if they may participate on Merseyside.
