Although it is Europe’s second-tier competition, the teams’ caliber is not at all lower.
Brighton & Hove Albion, another English team, will play with West Ham United in this year’s Europa League as compensation for winning the Europa Conference League.
Real Betis and Villarreal will represent Spain, Roma and Atalanta will represent Italy, and Bayer Leverkusen and Freiburg will represent France.
Liverpool will, nevertheless, be the overwhelming favorites to win the renowned European competition.

The previous transfer window saw the departures of James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho, leaving way at Anfield for Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch.
And the Reds’ excellent start to the new season suggests that the adjustments have worked out a treat for them.
After winning four of their first five league games, Jurgen Klopp’s team is only two points behind Manchester City.

From that point on, when teams from the Champions League drop down to the tournament, their obstacles will grow.
