In the first half against Wolves, Jurgen Klopp acknowledged feeling “WTF.”

After Liverpool struggled in the first half, Jurgen Klopp acknowledged that he began to doubt his team before the Reds came back to defeat Wolves.

Hugo Bueno’s own goal and Andrew Robertson’s late goal gave Liverpool a 3-1 victory at Molineux.

Early in the second half, Cody Gakpo equalized, giving Liverpool its third comeback victory of the year and fourth straight triumph. Since the start of last season, they have gone 16 games without a loss in the Premier League.

Vibrant Wolves took control after Hwang Hee-Chan’s first goal, and only Matheus Cunha’s startling error prevented them from extending their lead.

With Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Alisson, and Alexis MacAllister all arriving from South America on Friday, Klopp had criticized the early kick-off following the international break and said he was concerned throughout a terrible first half.

I had a few ‘WTF?’ moments in the first half, he claimed. In the first half, we weren’t prepared, but Wolves played incredibly well.

With these guys, some of whom we have known for seven, eight, or even nine weeks, some for even longer, I am confident that they are there if they can be. They were unable to today in many situations.

“I’m confident you can turn it if you go through the first half with a respectable outcome.

“The team needed aid, and thanks to the improvements and the new system, we could provide some of that help. They were two entirely distinct parts.

Wolves performed a fantastic first half, but we were incredibly good and in control of the game in the second.

“We maintained our composure, there was no hurry, and 3-1 was a result after 20 minutes that I didn’t expect, but during the second half we deserved it.”

Early on, Wolves had the upper hand, and Hwang scored in the seventh minute by sweeping in a low cross from Pedro Neto.

Gakpo, unnoticed, turned in Salah’s low ball after Gakpo and Diaz successfully snuck the ball to Salah on the right.

Wolves lost all of their first-half confidence, unable to produce another opportunity, but it didn’t take Liverpool until the 86th minute to capitalize.

Just within Wolves’ half, Robertson caught Jose Sa’s errant clearing. The defender charged forward, passing to Salah before converting from seven yards.

In added time, Bueno was deflected by Harvey Elliott’s 20-yard shot to clinch the game.

They’ve had a lot of possession at 1-1, but we made a bizarre choice that cost us a goal. To have pushed Liverpool so close up until the final eighty minutes was a very good performance.

We let up a crazy second goal, and that’s what I’ve been trying to urge the guys to do ever since I got here.
